Septic Inspection

An essential part of septic installation and upkeep is septic inspection. During a septic inspection, a trained hydro-action expert will examine your tanks and drainage systems to ensure that each element operates well and in accordance with waste management regulations.

We place specific focus on providing services for advanced or alternative types of septic systems with particular emphasis on aerobic treatment units (ATUs). The State of Georgia requires that properties with ATUs have a three-year service and maintenance arrangement in place after the date of the initial installation of these types of systems. This three-year service requirement mandates that the system and all component parts be checked at least once every six months for proper operation. After this initial three-year period, servicing and maintenance of these systems can be done on an “as needed” basis or the property owner can choose to purchase an annual on-going service contract from a certified company.
